We don't need information - what we need is revelation and impartation

by Kingdom Keys on 21 Oct 2011 permalink
For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. Churches are full of people doing their own thing and wondering why they are not hearing from God.

Comfort is a cunning enemy. It lulls your senses into believing everything is OK when in fact you are miles away of where you should be spiritually. Jesus is a personal God who does not live in nice buildings but in the heart of believers. Ouch! Do you have some clean up to do to accommodate this new tenant?

So how do you hear from God? He transcends technology and does not need to send you a text message to get through to you. If He is indeed the creator of the universe (that includes you as part of His creation) He knows exactly where to hit you to get your attention. God also is a gentleman who does not push Himself onto people. If you turn your back on Him, He will quietly leave you alone to do your own thing. He will not even challenge those who want to believe there is no God!

But if you turn back to Him, even for the second time He will move in as long as you make room and are willing to change your life priorities. One of the highest privileges we have as human beings is worship. The ability to praise God just for who He is has the potential to bring us into intimacy with Him. It is in the secret place of your prayer closet where you fellowship with God that He will impart to you what you need for the day.

You might be pining away at some issue that really burns your heart when God seems to ignore the situation altogether. The deal is that if you truly offload that burden at the foot of the cross, then it is His responsibility to fix it - not yours! He may not do anything significant about it in the natural but the sheer fact that you are able to pull through one more day, and another, and then another is proof in itself that He has given you the strength to go through it.

As believers we are called to be Christ-like which means we cannot share in His glory if we do not want to share in His suffering also. Do not despise your season of refining. You will come out of the furnace as pure gold. You do not want bad company in heaven with people who somehow bypassed the steps. When you have been stripped down to what really matters then you will hear from God. You will get a unique revelation just for you and will be imparted with what you need. God always enables those He calls.
